I am a South African (originally from Hermanus), living in Australia, and always knew that I wanted to get married somewhere in Hermanus. As I don’t live in SA, I needed to find a venue that would make it easy and stress free, planning the wedding from halfway across the world. From the first time I visited Bona Dea and met with Liza (the wedding co-ordinator), I knew that I wanted to get married there and that Liza would have everything covered. Liza and her team made the wedding planning process easy. She is extremely organised, has a long list of trusted vendors and any request I threw her way, she would take-on without hesitation. On the wedding weekend, we were able to enjoy every moment of our celebrations without having to think about any of the organisation side of things, as I knew that the Bona Dea team had everything under control. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day! Our friends and family were blown away at the beauty of the venue, the set-up and how seamless everything was run.
