The Outdoor Chapel

For couples drawn to an open-air ceremony, the Garden & Treed Terrace delivers sweeping views across the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, framed by raised garden terraces, natural water features, and manicured lawns.

Overhead, a canopy of trees strung with 20,000 fairy lights sets the scene for both the ceremony itself and the golden-hour sundowners and canapés that typically follow.

With panoramic valley views and the estate’s exclusive-use setting as a backdrop, it’s built for couples who want a larger guest list without sacrificing the privacy of a single-wedding-a-day venue.

COZY & INTIMATE

The Indoor Chapel

Set on the lower ground level of the estate, the Candlelit Chapel offers an intimate, all-weather setting for couples who want their ceremony sheltered from the elements.

Lit by hundreds of candles and framed by rings of lush greenery, the space carries an unmistakably romantic atmosphere, accommodating up to 250 guests, ideal for a full-scale indoor exchange of vows or as a seamless wet-weather backup for a ceremony originally planned outdoors.

Its candlelit setting makes it well suited to both grand celebrations and civil ceremonies, offering the warmth and intimacy of an indoor space without limiting the size of the guest list.
